Zoe's Books

I could read before I could write. I read now, when I can't write, or when I'm stuck in a writing rut. I read early in the morning, and late at night. I read to feel, and escape from feelings, and explore feelings I've never had but I'm curious about. I read for adventure and romance and passion and the journey. I read to my kids. I try to read to my husband, but he's busy reading himself. And he laughs at all the naughty parts...I don't get it, they're my favourite passages!

Breath on Embers - Anne Calhoun My expectations were very high for this novella. [b:Liberating Lacey|6439475|Liberating Lacey|Anne Calhoun|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1241278141s/6439475.jpg|6629380] is one of my all-time favourite romance novels, so I went in nervous but very quickly forgot about anything other than Thea's pain and Ronan's ... everything. Patient, hot, understanding, just the right amount of being pushy, and hot. Again, because it's worth pointing out twice. Anne Calhoun writes grown-up sex so very, very well. Bonus points for New York at Christmas!
